Okwagbe Community: A Clarion Call on Gov Okowa, NDDC and NEMA for intervention on deplorable roads & flood disaster

Okwagbe is the largest, most populous and the commercial centre in Ughelli South LGA of Delta bringing succumb to all neighbouring communities, yet faces yearly flood disaster  that has destroyed their roads.
Every four years, Okwagbe people  cast 90% of their votes to the state ruling party, PDP since 1999 till date. Yet, without any meaningful infrastructural development as a support from the State.

We are calling on the State Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to consider and at least implement one of the challenging issues facing the community.

Below is pictures of some affected roads and locations both in Okwagbe Waterside and Inland:

The people are really in need of a good road network with drainage, light, hospital, industries, seaport and other laudable projects.
