Fayose, Dankwambo and others receives Chieftaincy Titles
The Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe, has conferred chieftaincy titles on the Governor of Ekiti, Ayodele Fayose and his Gombe counterpart, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo.
Fayose and the Gombe governor yesterday commissioned the new hall built with Ewi’s palace by the state government to honour Oba Adejugbe and Ado Ekiti people. Traditional rulers attended the ceremony from both Ekiti and Gombe States and important dignitaries, including former Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswam, Bode George, Chief Wole Olanipekun and Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi among others.
In his speech, Oba Adejugbe said the honour was bestowed on these prominent Nigerians to appreciate them for their sterling performances as representatives of the people.
