Voters in Okwagbe faces Logistics & Security Challenges

FOM Okwagbe: The outcome of the February 23 Presidential/National Assembly elections in Okwagbe was disrupted in some areas while election holds in few areas. Okwagbe has the highest number of registered voters in Ughelli South LGA of Delta State.

There was no election Jeremi ward 3, unit 8, 9 and 10 due to late arrival of materials, unfunctional card readers and absence of INEC stamp which led to electoral violence.

Violence interrupted unit 6 and 7 while voting was in process until the intervention of the military. In Ward 3 materials arrived at 3:55pm.

On a general note, the election was not successful.
