Adamu Mohammed confirmation as IG of Police

Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari  has confirmed the Acting Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed as the substantial Inspector General  of Police.


This was announced at the police council meeting presided over by the President barely four months after he was made the acting inspector on January 15.

He was born on 17th September, 1961 and hails from Lafia, Nasarawa State. He was enlisted into the Nigerians Police Force in 1986. He obtained his degree honours from Ahmadu Bello University in Geography.
