Dr Olisa Agbakoba FOM Abuja:  The f ormer president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Dr Olisa Agbakoba, has advised defeated candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, to accept the outcome of the election.

FOM Abuja: The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has adjourned the final collation of the Presidential Election results to Monday by 11am. Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu announced this Sunday evening while formally declaring open the National Collation Centre.

The result of last Saturday Presidential election from Polling Units and LGA/senatorial level while collation is still in progress at the state level.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has charged President Muhammadu Buhari to accept defeat and prepare to handover power come May 29.

The output of Saturday presidential/national assembly elections is being awaited by Nigerians, but collation is still in progress across the 774 local government areas while some elections were postponed to Sunday.

FOM Okwagbe: The outcome of the February 23 Presidential/National Assembly elections in Okwagbe was disrupted in some areas while election holds in few areas. Okwagbe has the highest number of registered voters in Ughelli South LGA of Delta State.

INEC Reschedules 2019 General Elections till 23 February for Presidential/National Assembly and March 9 for Governorship/State Assembly elections

FOM Abuja :The  APC Presidential Campaign Council has condemned postponement of the general elections, but urged its supporters to remain resolute, patient and determined.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)  has decided to postpones Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections one week for Presidential/National Assembly and Governorship/State Assembly elections till 23 February and March 9 respectively.
