The Federal Government under the Buhari administration has set up another youth empowerment programme that will run from 2020 to 2023 when his tenure will elapse as part of his campaign promise to reduce the level of unemployment in the country.


The Federal ministry of Finance, Federal ministry of Labour and Productivity and the Federal Ministry of Women, Social and Youth Affairs have been given authorisation to draft the modality through which the programme will be implemented across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

Categories:
The programme will be sectioned into two categories:
A. Non-Graduate Empowerment Programme
B.  Graduate Empowerment Programme

Requirements:
1. Prospective applicants should be between 20 and 30 years of age
2. Birth Certificate
3. National Identification Number - NIN
4. Academic Qualifications
5. NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate
6. State of Origin Certificate
7. Attestation Letter from Community Leader or last school attended
8. Curriculum Vitae.
9. Active Email account and Mobile number.

Expected Allowance
Successful candidates will be given a monthly allowance of N60,000 (sixty thousand naira).
