COVID-19 cases is becoming alarming especially in Nigeria as the number of confirmed cases has rises to 139 as at 31st March 2020. This pandemic is fast growing in Nigeria and preventive measures are the only available options.
Four new cases of COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 3 in the FCT and 1 in Lagos As at 08:00 pm 31st March there are 139 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths.
Also, three governors have tested positive to COVID-19 in Nigeria, which include the Kaduna, Bauchi and Oyo states governors respectively.
The Federal Government has directed the closure of three states: Ogun, Lagos and the FCT which has the highest number of confirmed cases for two week. The incubation period of this virus is 14-days and the government is doing its best to curtail further spread.
We urge everyone to take preventive measures which include washing of hands regularly, observe social distancing and and respiratory practice.
The number of COVID-19 discharged cases is nine (9) while death recorded is two.
COVID-19 is not a airborne disease. It can only be contacted through person-to-person.
