COVID-19 hits new two states as Delta State records two new confirmed cases making it six and Edo State records one new death as total cases reach over 800.


The National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed two new cases in Delta State, Borno State records one death. Lagos records 430 and FCT Abuja 118 cases for the Coronavirus Disease in Nigeria.

As at 21st of April 2020, 117 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria.

So far, 782 cases have been confirmed, 197 cases have been discharged and twenty-five deaths have been recorded in Nigeria.

 The 117 new cases are reported from eight states- 
Lagos (59), 
FCT (29), 
Kano (14), 
Borno (6), 
Katsina (4), 
Ogun (3), 
Rivers (1), 
Bauchi (1).
