Nigeria's COVID-19 Cases now 7,839 as NCDC records 313 New Cases

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control has reported 313 new cases of the novel corona virus pandemic, globally known as COVID-19 as total confirmed cases now 7,839 across 34 states and the Federal Capital City Abuja, with the exception of Kogi and Cross River states.

The 313 new cases were reported from 17 states and they include: Lagos (148), FCT (36), Rivers (27), Edo (19), Kano (13), Ogun (12), Ebonyi (11), Nasarawa (8), Delta (8), Oyo (7), Plateau (6), Kaduna (5), Kwara (4), Akwa Ibom (3), Bayelsa (3), Niger (2), Anambra (1).

So far, the country has recorded 44,458 sample tested, 5,350 active cases, 2,263 discharged cases and 226 death as at 24th May, 2020.
