Ajimobi Appointed as Acting Chairman of APC

Senator Abiola Ajimobi has been appointed as the Acting National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC after the Appeal Court upheld the suspension of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as National Chairman of the party.

Ajimobi, 71 is a former governor of Oyo state and currently battling with illness after lung surgery. It was reported that Ajimobi is currently in coma and later appointed in acting capacity.

Also, the suspended chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole said the party will be going to court if the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP eventually absorbed Governor Godwin Obaseki, who has resigned from the APC as a result of his disqualification from contesting the party primaries ahead of the governorship election scheduled in October 2020.
