Buhari meets Service Chiefs over Insecurity

Service Chiefs

President Buhari of Nigeria meets with Service Chiefs over increasing rate of insecurity in the country and urged them to do their best.

The military chiefs were led to the meeting by the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Gabriel Olonisakin.

The meeting comes a day after the United States government expressed worry over the incessant attacks and killings in Northern Nigeria.

The U.S. government in a statement signed by Mike Pompeo, U.S. Secretary of State, said the recent killings are senseless and brazen.

President Muhammadu Buhari therefore urged the Service Chiefs and the Inspector General of Police to put in their very best to curtain the president security challenges facing the Nation.
