FG Terminates Npower Batch A & B Programme, starts Batch C Registration

The Nigeria government has decided to put an end to the social investment programme tagged NPower for both batches and open new portal for registration of batch C.

This was issued by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development as part of the Buhari's led administration to put off 10 million Nigerians out of poverty by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the report, batch A programme will officially ends on June 30 2020 while batch B will terminates on July 31st, 2020.

All existing beneficiaries of batch A and B will not be eligible for the Batch C registration. The portal for Batch C registration is expected to begins June 26.

The Npower program commenced in 2016 for Batch A, consisting of 200,000 beneficiaries for upward of 41 months.

The batch B beneficiaries started in 2017 comprising of 300,000 beneficiaries. The portal for Batch C registration opens June 26, 2020 for both graduates and non-graduates.
