Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala's Mandate for Director-General of World Trade Organisation (WTO)

Nigeria former Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has given her mandate for the position of the Director General of World Trade Organisation (WTO).

The former minister was nominated to represent Nigeria by President Muhammadu Buhari at the World Trade Organisation of which she is contesting for the position of the Director General.

In her speech, Trade is a force for good, and properly harnessed can help lift millions out of poverty and bring shared prosperity. The role of World Trade Organisation is more vital than ever. Let’s fight for a WTO that works for all.
