ASUU Strike: Nigeria Labour Congress Begins 3-Day Warning Strike Nationwide

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has commenced a 3-day warning strike in resolving the ASUU/Federal Government face-off, but will be embarking in an indefinite strike as from August 1st.

In a bid to resolving the over six-month old strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), the Labour Union is organising a 3-day warning strike nationwide in the 36 states and the FCT.

The statement was released through the official Twitter handle of ASUU and it reads;

ASUU: Demonstration to start 8am today in all 36 States including FCT.

"We are embarking on a 3-day nationwide warning strike and consequently indefinite strike if the FG didn't do anything to resolve ASUU issues and reopen schools after our 2 days warning Protest". --- NLC Boss.
