Oluwatobiloba Ayomide "Tobi" Amusan "23" become the first Nigerian to win gold medal 
at the Athletics World Championships 2022.

Tobi clocks 12.06 seconds to win the gold medal for the women’s hurdles even for Oregon, USA.

 Amusan win her first ever global title and medal in the 100 meters hurdle of the semi-finals at the Athletics World Championship.

Amusan tears of joy run down her as the Nigerian Anthem was sang at the Hayward Field stadium, Eugene, Oregon.

Tobi has brought pride to Nigeria and evolution of a new sportsmanship in Nigeria.

Tobi Amusan was born on 23 April, 1997 and she hails from Ijebu-ode, Lagos state.

She attended Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School Ijebu-Ode Lagos and currently schooling at University of Texas.

She was at the 2022 Tokyo Olympics where she emerged 4th before setting the new African record.

Tobi Amsuan has won several medals in Commonwealth Games African. 

She will be one of the top Athletics from Africa at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England holding from July 28 – August 8.
