The Majority Leader of Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Nnamdi Okafor (Akajiugo Awka) has reportedly slumped and died in a Hotel at Sandton City Johannesburg, South Africa.

Okafor, who is representing Awka South Constituency 1, was said to have collapsed in the early hours of today (Wednesday) and was confirmed dead hours later in a hospital.
Okafor, a second term legislator, came into the State Assembly in 2015 on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Details about the cause of death are still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
