INEC Online Recruitment for 2023 General Elections, Date and Requirements

INEC commences online recruitment of ad-hoc staff for the 2023 General Elections nationwide for applicants with the following requirements.

This  information was released by the Commission sequel for the recruitment of credible INECPRESS, that is Election Staff across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), which commences on September 14 for the period of three (3) months.

The ah-hoc staff will be involved in the Presidential/National Assembly election and State Governorship/State House of Assembly election billed for 25 February, 2023 and 11 March, 2023 respectively as published by Felix Omoko Blog.

ONLINE RECRUITMENT OF AD-HOC STAFF VIA THE INEC PORTAL FOR RECRUITMENT OF ELECTION STAFF (INECPRESS) FOR THE 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS

The Commission has approved the use of INECPRESS and its reactivation for the interested applicants who wish to serve as ad-hoc staff for the 2023 General Elections.

2. Consequent upon the above, the Commission has directed that all interested applicants with the exception of Collation/Returning officers must register on the INECPRESS to be eligible for selection and deployment as ad-hoc staff in the 2023 General elections. Please see attached Annexure 1.

3. To achieve the required number of ad-hoc staff per states, it is important that robust engagement/sensitization by the Admin. Secs/HOD EOPs/Eos & AEOs under the leadership of the RECs is commenced with the Authorities of Federal, State Tertiary Institutions and the NYSC offices (state/Government levels).

4. In addition, I wish to convey the approval of the Commission of the followings:

(i) Launch Period of the INECPRESS: Opens on Wednesday 14th September by 8:00am and closes on Wednesday 14th December, 2022 by 8:00pm

(ii.) The INECPRESS is available via 2 links located on the INEC website: www.inecnigeria.org (a link for the Mobile App and the other link is for the web portal.

(iii.) The URL of the Registration web portal (laptop/cyber café friendly) is https://pres.inecnigeria.org
