"Akinwumi Ambode who brought major transformation in critical areas in Lagos State in just four years was denied the APC ticket."

"But Ambode was not bold enough to move into other party to try his luck like his Edo State counterpart, Godwin Obaseki who sought solace in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and succeeded in retaining his position as governor."
