Fire Engulfs WAEC Office

 

Fire incident has engulf Africa examination body, WAEC National office Lagos and the extent of damages could not be ascertain but, there was no loss of life.

The incident occurred today, at the West Africa Examinations Council (WAEC) National office, Yaba Lagos Nigeria and was released by the head of public affairs, Moyosola Adesina via via its Twitter handle and it read in part.

The Management of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), wishes to inform the general public that there was an early morning fire incident at the WAEC National Office, Yaba, Lagos. It was swiftly  contained by a combined team of fire fighters.

Thankfully, no life was lost  and all important documents and records are intact.
