Football Legend, Pele Dies at Age 82

Brazilian soccer star and 3-times world cup winner, football legend Pele dies at the age of 82. He was born on 23 October 1940.

Pele (Edson Arantes do Nascimento) died on 29 December 2022 at the  Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital, São Paulo, State of São Paulo in Brazil.

The Brazilian government has declared a three-day mourning period to pay tribute to its national idol Pele.
