Nigerians' goes to the poll to choose their next president in the 2023 Presidential and National Assembly elections.

The election was held today 25 February across 178,606 polling units in Nigeria.

There were 18 presidential candidates from the various registered political parties and top on the list are Bola Tinubu of APC, Peter Obi of Labour Party, Atiku Abubakar of PDP and Rabiu Kwankwaso of NNPP. 

At the moment, Nigerians await the result of the presidential, Senate and House of Reps elections as INEC officials collate election results at the ward, local government and state levels for upward transmission to INEC headquarters in Abuja for final declaration by the INEC chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.

Results at some of the polling units shown APC, Labour Party and PDP are leading in some quarters.

Also, there are report of destruction of election materials and results in some polling units. In Kano state, children were captured in voting exercise against the Electoral Act.

It's hopeful that the electoral process will end peaceful after the declaration of the winner of the 2023 Presidential Election in Nigeria.
