Dahiru Ahmed Aishatu, politically known as 'Aishatu Binani' is a Nigerian politician who served as a Senator and APC Governorship candidate in the 2023 General Elections.

Aishatu Binani served as a senator representing Adamawa Central in the 9th National Assembly Abuja between 2019 and 2023.

Aishatu Binani was born 11 August 1971 and hailed from Adamawa state of Nigeria. She is of the fulani descent from North East Nigeria.

In 2023, Binani was the governorship candidate under the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.

Subsequently she was abruptly declared the winner to emerge as the first female governor-elect by the INEC REC before cancellation in favour of the incumbent governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
