Dino Melaye Wins Kogi PDP Governorship Primary

Dino Melaye, a former senator has won the PDP governorship primary ahead of the 2023 governorship election in Kogi state.

Dino Melaye was a former Senator who represented Kogi West in the 8th senate of the National Assembly between 2015 and 2019.

According to INEC schedule of the governorship election in Kogi state, the election is billed to hold in the last quarter of the year 2023 as tenure of the incument governor, Yahaya Bello elapses 2th January 2024.

Dino, 49 is a Nigerian politician who representing Kogi West Senatorial district in the 8th National Assembly and was born 7 January 1974.

Melaye is an active member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP at the national, state and the grassroot level. It is hopeful that his political experience will scale him through this enormous task of becoming the executive governor of the state.
