George Washington was an American military officer, statesman and founding father, who served as first President of the United States of America.

Washington was born on 22 February 1732 and died on 14 December 1799, at age 67. He served two terms in office as President between April 30, 1789 to March 4, 1797. The first American presidential election was held in December 1788 through January 1789 and the second election was held in 1792.
