Kogi 2023: Dino Melaye to Revive Ajaokuta Steel if he Wins

The PDP governorship candidate, Dino Melaye in the November 11th Kogi State gubernatorial election has promised to revive the Ajaokuta steel after winning the guber race.

Melaye was a senator in the 8th National Assembly where he represented Kogi West Senatorial District and he was one of the most attacked Senator during his time.

Dino made the declaration via his Twitter handle and it reads;

"Dino Melaye will revive Ajaokuta Steel Company when he becomes Kogi State Governor."

His statement is based on the premises that if he eventually wins the governorship election, he will do well to revive it and to be functional as a campaign promise to the people of Kogi state.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has fixed the kogi state governorship election on 11th November 2023, alongside the Imo and Bayelsa state elections same day.
