Nigeria can No Longer be Father Christmas to Neighbouring Countries - Tinubu

Bola Tinubu

Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reinstated his administration commitment through the fuel subsidy removal and we can no longer be father Christmas to neighbouring countries.

"The President stated this while playing host to traditional rulers on courtesy visit to the President, and urges them to exercise patience and tolerance with this administration.

"That the removal of fuel subsidy will boost the economy as it will open up other glaring opportunities to the nation's wealth and development.

"Recall that fuel subsidy was officially removed by President Bola Tinubu on assumption of office. The removal initially generated negative ripples to all citizens as the pump price of PMS was increased to over N500 and N600 across the country.

Tinubu also crave the indulgence of the traditional rulers to be calm and to maintain peaceful coexistence within their domains, as the pump price of fuel will soon drop in weeks.
