President Tinubu Signs Students Interest-Free Loan Act

Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed into law the Higher Education Act which provides interest-free loan to deserving students.

President Tinubu said he is doing justice to his campaign promises to all Nigerian including our students in the education sector.

Basically, the higher education act will provide fund for deserving students the opportunity to access money at any point of their education without any interest attached to it.

The president tweet reads

I was pleased, today, to have signed into law, the Access to Higher Education Act which provides interest-free loans to deserving students across the country who wish to further their education in tertiary institutions.
With this Act we shall ensure that every deserving student has access to affordable and quality education, irrespective of their financial background.
