Shehu Sani Requests President Tinubu to Probe CBN after Emefiele's Suspension

Senator Shehu Sani has commendable the action of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the suspension of Godwin Emefiele as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and equally request the probe and Auditing of the apex bank.

Shehu made the commendation and request through his official Twitter handle, asking for a pertinent approach to unravel the misery behind the Buhari -Emefiele era of using the CBN as an ATM by the aso rock cabals.

Sani stated that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) was runned as the ATM of the cabals under former President Buhari's administration, and there is urgent need for external probing and auditing of the activities that went on during that era.

Senator Sani urges President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to setup a team of external and professional auditors to probe the apex bank as the suspended CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele was being used to execute some of its illegal activities between 2015 and 2023.

The statement reads

The eviction of Emefiele is commendable.The appointment of Shonubi as acting Governor is commendable.But the Housecleaning of the CBN can only be done by engaging a team of auditors from OUTSIDE of the CBN. Only they can professionally and  thoroughly probe the apex Bank and tell the country how the Bank was run under Buhari’s Emefiele. The CBN was operated as an ATM of the Cabal,a Canteen and Cash Cow of the parasitic elites of the past administration.
