Charly Boy Scolds Northern Youth for Burning Davido's Photo
Nigerian singer, Charly Boy has tackled northern youths for burning poster with Davido’s photo over the Jaye Lo's video on social media, LIB report.
Davido incurred the wrath of some Muslims recently after sharing a music video of his signee, Logos Olori that showed some people dressed in white clothes, praying the way the Muslims do before launching into dancing as they recited some Quranic verses and prayed.
The singer has since deleted the video, but yet to apolised; and it was also remour that twitter on Wednesday has removed Davido's blue badge veRification badge. At the moment, the verification badge is still there.
The northern muslims has accused the singer of disrespecting Islamic beliefs and practices over the video he shared. They demanded that he deletes the video and apologises. Davido later deleted the video but has not made any statement since then.
A post shared by Arewa influencer, Sarki_Sultan on the mirco-blogging platform, Twitter, captured the moment a group of youths were seen burning the singer’s poster.
Charly Boy took to his Twitter handle this morning to berate the youths for burning the poster.
Moreover, Prof. Wole Soyinka has defended Davido, saying that there is no need for apology, stating that previous comment made against christians by muslims' faithful have not yielded any apology.
