FG flag off Vaccination Against Anthrax Disease
The Nigeria government and that of Niger state have flagged off statewide Animal Vaccination against Anthrax, NTA report.
Anthrax disease was first report on July 18, as previously published by Felix Omoko Blog in Nigeria state.
The exercise was flagged off at a farm belonging to the Emir of Suleja Muhammadu Auwal Ibrahim in Tarfa local government area of Niger state.
The federal government through the Ministry of Agriculture has deployed fifty thousand doses of the Vaccine while the state government procured four hundred thousand doses.
All Animals including cows, sheep and goats within twelve kilometers radius of where the first case was dictated will be vaccinated.
