Lagbaja Orders Troops to Raid Areas of IPOB Sit-at-Home Order

Lagbaja

The Chief of Army staff, Maj Gen Taoreed Lagbaja has ordered troops to raids areas where IPOB members are enforcing sit-at-home order in the South East states.

The order is coming barely 24-hours after the South East governors forum met and made a formal request from President Bola Tinubu for intervention in the IPOB sit-at-home order that is rapidly collapsing economic activities.

For the past two weeks, members of  the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has caused so much harm to their own people in the south east states, ordering sit-at-home without provision of any basic needs.

The IPOB enforcement has drawn the attention of the international communities for the inhumane  treatment, the Igbo people of South Eastern Nigeria are facing.

The invitation of the Nigerian troops will go along way in restoring absolute peace in the region, thereby allowing people to exercise their civic rights as citizens.

The report reads
