Tinubu Presidency is not Legitimate - Duke
Ex-Governor, Donald Duke has berated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu inauguration as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as illegitimate.
Duke described Peter Obi as the symbol that reflects the anger of the people and what would be.
"That young people have an option to leave or stay and fight it out. If nothing is done urgently, the revolution will grow."
Donald Duke was a former governor of Cross River state between 1999 and 2007 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and 2019 presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the winner of the 2023 Presidential Election on March 1, 2023, held on Saturday 25 February.
This statement was released by Donald Duke through his official Twitter handle and it reads
Tinubu presidency is not legitimate. INEC has not done the right thing. PETER OBI IS A SYMBOL that reflects 'the anger of the people' and 'what could be'.
Young people have an option to leave or stay and fight it out. If nothing is done urgently, the revolution will grow.
