Tinubu's N500bn Palliative States Distribution Shares

The Tinubu-led government is set to distribute N500 billion palliative to 12 million households to support poor and vulnerable families across 36 states and the FCT.

According to the Federal Government sharing formula mark-out for the palliative distribution, Kano and Lagos states are expected to get N26 billion each, while FCT will households will get N8 billion.

The palliative was primarily designed to cushion the effect of the petrol subsidy removal by the Tinubu's government, which has necessity high cost of commodities in the market.

Each household will be paid N8,000 monthly for a period of six months, that is N48,000 in total as previously published by Felix Omoko Blog.

For fairness, the government will give keen attention to households without bank account, for access to the government palliative.

The palliative will be distributed through conditional cash transfer to respective beneficiaries in each household
