Hannatu Musawa was sworn-in on Monday 21st August, 2023 as the honourable minister of the Ministry of Art, Culture and Creative Economy by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with other 44 new ministers.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at the State House Conference, Abuja and was attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima; Senate President Godswill Akpabio; Speaker of the House Representatives, Tajudeen Abass; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; and Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.
