Police Recruitment

The Nigeria Police Force has begins the online registration of Police Constable (PC) for qualified applicants between age 18 - 25 years, from 15 October - 26 November 2023.

Interested applicants should follow the online registration guidelines as released by the Police Service Commission in conjunction with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

The statement reads

The Police Service Commission (PSC) in conjunction with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) invites applications from interested and qualified Nigerians  for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force as Police constables(recruits). 


The online application portal will be open for the period of six weeks from 15th October to 26th November 2023, where prospective applicants are required to  compete the online application forms and submit same within the specified period via www.apply.pollcerecruitment.gov.ng 

The portal is open to both male and female of good character.

Online Registration Guideline

The online Application requirements are as follows:

  1. Applicants shall be of Nigerian origin by birth and must possess the National Identification Number (NIN).
  2. Applicant must possess a minimum of 5 credit in not more than 2 sittings in WAEC/NECO or its equivalent with credit passes in English and Mathematics.
  3. Applicants must be aged between 18 - 25 years.
  4. Applicant must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not have less than 1’67m tall for male 1.64m tall for female.
  5. Applicant must not have less than 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (for male only).
  6. Female Applicant must not be pregnant at the time of entry
  7. Applicant must have a valid email address and phone number.
  8. SSCE statement of result or certificates relating to examinations taken before 2015 will not be accepted.
  9. Applicants must be free from any criminal offence.

3. Recruitment portal website: apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng to fill the online application form. 

Documents Upload

  • SSCE Result/Certificate
  • Birth Certificate or Age Declaration 
  • Certificate of Origin. 

Physical  & Credentials Screening Exercise

Applicants are to present the originals of the following documents during the Automated physical screening Exercise:

  • Educational Qualifications
  • Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age 
  • Evidence of Physical/Fitness form a government recognized hospital.
  • Evidence of good character from village/district head of the applicant.
  • Indigence Certificate signed by the local government Chairman or secretary.
  • Guarantor form or endorsed by a public servant not below the rank of GL13, police Officer not below the rank of CSP or its equivalent from the Armed forces and other paramilitary services.

Aptitude Test

Successful Applicants Will be made to undergo an Aptitude test (computer Based). 

Medical Screening  

Applicant’s who scale through the aptitude test (computer Based) will be invited for Automated Medical Centers, on a date to be communicated later.

Nature of Training 

Successful Applicants enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force will undergo a combined Academic and physical training leading to the employment of a successful ones into the Nigeria Police Force as Police Constables (PC).
