FEC Approves N27.5 trillion as Appropriation Bill


The Federal Executive Council, FEC has approved the 2024 appropriation bill of N27.5 trillion, to be presented by president Bola Tinubu to the National Assembly.

The appropriation bill will be presented to the National Assembly on Wednesday 29 November 2023 to the National Assembly by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The budget is tagged the budget of recovery and financial freedom, with a view of minimizing the suffering many Nigerians are facing at the moment.

Details of the budget presentation shall be made available shortly after the presentation by the President, amounting to the tune of N27.5 trillion. This is the first time Nigeria budget is of great magnitude.

This will also be President Tinubu first appearance at the National Assembly after his inauguration in May as the 16th Nigerian President.

The event will holds at the upper chamber of the National Assembly at a join session, to be hosted by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, who is also the chairman of the National Assembly.
