The Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi has scolded the Federal Government on the purchase of 400 SUV vehicles for legislators at the cost of N60 billion.

Obi said, the Tinubu government is deviating from the areas of critical attention, and this deviation is troubling the nation.

Peter Obi stated this via X, former known as Twitter, and it reads

The recent expenditure of N60 billion for the purchase of SUV vehicles for about 400 legislators is a continuation of the troubling trend in our nation today. We have continued to abandon the critical areas of  development measurement while expending scarce resources on needless.
