James Polk


James K. Polk was an American politician who served as the 11th President of the United States under democratic party, Speaker and governor.

Polk served as the 11th President of the United States between 4 March 1845 and 4th March 1849 and election was held in 1844.

James Polk was born  2 November, 1795  and died 15 June, 1849. He was the 11th President of the United States, the 13th Speaker of the United States House of Representatives and the 9th Governor of the state of Tennessee.
