Nigeria Super Eagles Wins Silver Medal as Cote d’Ivoire Lift Trophy

Cote d’Ivoire emerges Africa defending champion as Nigeria Super Eagles lost in a 1 – 2 AFCON final.

Nigeria super eagles came second in the final match of the 34th edition of Africa Cup of Nations organised by CAF.

The performance of the Eagles was below expectations as the Ivorians played  more comfortably in a 32% – 68% ball possession.


It was a host and win tactics for  the Ivory Coast as the elephants of Cote d’Ivoire defeated the Super Eagles of Nigeria beyond expectation as the Eagles conceived their first goal.

The elephants triumphantly equalised and score their winning goal by striker Hailer.
