Mbah Awards Scholarship to Master Israel

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu state has given full scholarship to Master Israel Echezona for emerging overall best in Aviation entrance exam.

Israel, a 17-year-old indigene of the state came first in the just concluded entrance examination of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria.

The scholarship covers the admission fees of N23.2 million and other fees till completion of the programme.

Gov. Mbah said the gesture is to encourage children and youth in the state toward pursuing excellence in their chosen career.

His statement on X reads

Today, I awarded a full scholarship to Master Israel Echezona, a 17-year-old indigene of our state, who emerged as the overall best candidate in the entrance examination of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria.

He has not only made us proud but has also become a source of inspiration to other children. Our administration shall give him all the assistance he needs to realise his dream. We shall offset the N23.2m initial fee and handle all of his other financial commitments until he completes the programme.

I extend my sincere congratulations to him and implore him to continue on the path of excellence in order to justify our government’s investment and faith in him.

We shall keep promoting excellence by equipping children and youths of Enugu State with the requisite education and skills to excel in life.
