Tinubu Arrives South Africa for Presidential Inauguration of Cyril Ramaphosa

President Bola Tinubu has arrived Pretoria for the 2024 presidential inauguration of Cyril Ramaphosa.

Cyril, 71 has been South Africa president since 2018, and will be inaugurated tomorrow for another term in office.

An official statement by South Africa on X, expresses the bilateral relationship Nigeria had with South Africa in pursuance of the African Agenda, south-south cooperation and promotion of rules-based international system.

Nigeria and South Africa shares a common vision in politics and economic integration, the later having major firms in the country.

Tinubu arrived South Africa on Tuesday night after the celebration of the eid mubarak in Lagos.

South Africa regards Nigeria as a strategic partner in the context of bilateral relations, the West Africa region, and the continent in the pursuance of the African Agenda, South – South cooperation and in the promotion of a rules-based International System.

Our two countries share a common vision on issues of political and economic integration in Africa.

The President is extended to return to Abuja after the inauguration.
