John Adams was an American statesman, attorney, writer, diplomat and founding father who served as the second President of the United States of America after George Washington.

John Adams served as President between 4 March 1797 – March 4, 1801 in a single term in office. He was also the first Vice President of the United States and as a leader of the American Revolution that achieved independence from Great Britain.

During his administration, Thomas Jefferson was his Vice President between 1797 and 1801. John Adams was married to Abigail Adams and they had 6 children. He also served in several government ministries and committee before entering the White House.
